Every cameo portrait carving is totally hand made and one of a kind. The examples of previous orders shown in my portrait gallery can be used for ideas.

I can always create a unique design for you. Free form shapes for the cameo stone and creative goldwork can create a very exciting and distinctive piece.

Guide to prices

A portrait cameo can range in price from $5,000 to over $50,000 in US dollars. For the UK that is from £2,500 to over £25,000. I can only give an exact price quote after viewing your photographs and learning more of your wishes for the design of the Cameo Jewel.

Multiple photos are best sent by e.mail as attachments to artist@portraitsinstone.com. Please add information such as why you like these images, an idea of your budget for this gift and what kind of cameo jewel you would like to have.

Try to send large high quality files of the subject as I can then use them to create a printed photobook for you when the Cameo is finished.

You can also put together a collection of your favorite designs using My Shortlist and send them to Portraits in Stone. This may help the artist with the design process.

Payment details

The total order value can be paid by two or three staged payments: Deposit with order, interim payments, and final balance before shipping.

I can also offer a Layaway Plan if desired. This helps you to afford your cameo portrait by sending small payments over time.

PayPal is free and is the fastest way to send money from outside the U.K. I will email a paypal request when the order is finalised.

For orders within the U.K you can pay by PayPal, direct bank transfer or cheque.

The Order Process

Please allow up to 8 weeks for your order to be finished and delivered. The design phase usually lasts from up to 2 weeks. After the design is approved; the carving stage and the goldsmithing will be another 6 weeks. Delivery is by Fed-Ex, with online tracking door to door.

My Shortlist

My Shortlist is YOUR collection of images. You may add up to 30 images to your Shortlist. Use the Send your Shortlist feature to email your favorite images to Portraits in Stone. The cameo artist will then use those images as a guide when creating your unique Design Proposal.
