Gemstone cameo portraits are very rare and very powerful. They look so real that they evoke a strong emotional response from friends and family.

Each portrait is hand carved with great care from your photographs and is signed by the artist.

The carving is set into a hand-made frame of gold or Platinum.

A special photo book to record our collaboration

This is a commemorative photo-book, designed in Aperture, that is sent after the cameo jewel is finished.

Here I print the original photos, with full credit, bio and contact info for the photographer, details of the design proposal and step by step pictures that explain how their unique Jewel was made.

They will readily show this book to family and friends when they are asked how the Portrait Cameo jewel was created.

Will help to promote you in new ways

A Cameo Portrait jewel will be worn often and is sure to provoke comment, as it is so unique. Your client is sure to mention your studio photography and that you introduced them to Portraits in Stone. Think of it as a wearable version of your photo art, that is busy out there promoting your work.

How the process works

Contact me first, so I know to apply the finders fee to the order. I will contact your customer and handle all stages of the order. You do not need get involved, however, I will keep you informed of progress.

Send me your shots via email, High resolution and Large file sizes are very welcome. Give me the information that you want to appear on your photographer info page in the photo-book.

Your client will recieve their portrait cameo by Fed-Ex courier within 8 weeks. The photo-book will be delivered 4 weeks later along with a complimentary copy for your studio to keep.

Privacy Policy

Your photographs will only be used to carve the cameo portrait. They will not be shared or sold to others. Printed photos will be returned to you while digital images are kept in a confidential folder on a secure system.

I usually show finished Cameo orders in the gallery section of my website. However, your customer can ask that their custom Jewel is not shown.
