Cameo earrings made to match the Lawrence family cameo portrait pendant
A wonderful pair of earrings specially made to match the Lawrence family Cameo portrait pendant. These are made of layered blue agate to match the original carving.
The design for the cameo earring stones. This design is to match the scroll decoration engraved on the gold frame of the portrait cameo and on the original wedding ring.
The stone on the left has had the white layer carved away to reveal the blue background.
The scroll design for the two stones is drawn in a left hand and right handed version. Each stone is a mirror image of the other.
The front and back of the earrings can be seen in this picture. The gold hallmark can be seen next to the scroll on the pin.
The earring stem is positioned one third of the way from the top of the oval. This will make the earrings hang correctly when worn.
The earrings viewed from the side. The thickness of the carving can be seen in this view. This view shows how each stone carving is a mirror image of the other.
The original wedding ring. The scroll decoration was hand engraved onto the side of the portrait cameo Jewel and also used here for the earring design.
This photo below shows the earrings shown in their wooden presentation box.
The wooden presentation box is hand-made from burl wood and is beautifully crafted.
